Anti-epidemic measures carried out by 3E Project funded social enterprises

 

In response to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, the 3E Project funded social enterprises have launched various measures and promotional offers to fight the disease with the community together.

hc:Bistro, hc:Bakery, hc:Café and hc:Kitchen (Hong Chi Association)

To ensure public health, bar service and self-service cutleries have been suspended. All staff must wear surgical mask. Both staff and customers will have their body temperature checked before being allowed access to the shop. The door handle and frequently touched surfaces are cleaned every 2 hours.

WashEasy Dishware Cleaning Service (Tung Wah Groups of Hospitals)

1:49 diluted household bleach is used to clean and disinfect the venue. All entering the venue must have their body temperature checked and wear surgical mask. All staff wear surgical masks, safety goggles, veil and hand gloves when performing their duties. Alcohol-based handrub is provided for cleaning hands. The venue is operated according to the standard of ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP. WashEasy is now offering small and medium sized restaurants a $7,500 monthly package for cleaning dishware.

Holy Café Training Centre (Self-strengthening Service Centre Limited)

During the period of temporarily closure of business, 1 500 lunch boxes and 3 000 sets of anti-epidemic bags were distributed to members of the public in the territory.

SEPD Home Market Store (Support Employment of People with Disabilities Limited)

Checks on body temperature of staff members will be conducted before their reporting for duty. Sufficient hand gloves, surgical masks and cleaning items are provided. 1:99 diluted household bleach is used to clean the door handle, cashier and freezer door panels. Nano photocatalyst is applied to disinfect the shop.

All staff members will carry out anti-epidemic measures and maintain good personal hygiene. The venue is cleaned twice every day. All customers must wear surgical masks in the shop. If customers develop symptoms such as influenza, cough, fever, etc., the Shop will consider suspending the service.

Drinks330 (New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association)

The venue has stopped receiving visitors. Everyone entering the food factory must have their temperature checked, wear surgical mask and clean his/her hands using the handrub provided by Drinks330. Staff on duty must wear surgical mask except lunch breaks. The food factory and common areas are cleaned three times a day.

One Café (New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association)

The public area is cleaned three times a day. Frequently touched surfaces are cleaned every two hours. Alcohol-based handrub is provided for customers.

Ecotour330 (New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association)

The venue is cleaned and disinfected daily. Alcohol-based handrub is provided for customers.

Flower Workshop (The Federation of Handicapped Youth)

An air purifier has recently been installed in the shop. The Workshop has strengthened its cleansing work.

The Salvation Army Shatin Family Store (The Salvation Army)

Door handle, shelves and cashier are cleaned and disinfected every 2 hours. Alcohol-based handrub is provided for customers.

TI FARM (The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong)

Anti-epidemic promotional offer: 15% off for purchases $250 or more (all kinds of products).

iBakery Pop Up Business (Infinitus Plaza) (Tung Wah Group of Hospitals)

Customers can enjoy a $2 discount for purchases of bread and cookies $20 or more and show the Facebook post published on the 3E Project Facebook Page on 2 April 2020. The offer is valid till 31 May 2020.
